I AM PERSUADED THAT HE IS ABLE:
TO DO WHAT PLEASES HIM (part 2)
Galatians 1:15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace, 16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with
“It pleased God….who…called me by His grace”
Make no mistake about it, God has called you. God has a purpose for each of us. His purpose is for each of us to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ. Jesus made it clear in His earthly ministry that He had come to do “the will of His Father”. So for us to conform to Christ, we must do what God calls us to do. I know what you are thinking. What if I’m not able to do what God asks? What if it is too much to handle? What if God asks me to do something that I am totally uncomfortable doing?
That is what grace is for. When God call us, He calls us “by His grace”. That means whatever God call us to do, He provides plenty of grace to help us do it. You and I do not need for God to explain all the details and purposes of His will to us. He does not need to explain why He has called us to do what He pleases. We just simply need to trust His grace, and His ability to provide that grace as it is needed. We do not need explanations, we just need God’s Grace. If you are struggling with God right now, and maybe even demanding some answers, I encourage you to stop. Answers will never do for you what God’s grace will. Where there is God’s calling, there is God’s grace.
