Bible Reading:Revelation 7

13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

This passage tells of some remarkable people. These are people who heard the witnesses of Jesus during the tribulation. They refused the mark of the beast and were martyred for Him. In heaven, Jesus gave them a special place around the throne. This passage tells us about what they went through.
They shall hunger no more. In trusting Christ they were unable to buy and sell for food so many probably starved.
Neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat
Revelation 16:8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
The earth was scorched, it must have been miserable.
Lastly, I believe they wept. Jesus wipes their tears away.
Verse 17 says that God will give them the things they gave up for him.
The simple thought for today is this. If God will personally save a spot in heaven, feed and protect those who turn to Him during the tribulation; What will Jesus do for his Bride? It’s amazing to think what Gods prepared for us. We have a great Savior. Lets be thankful that we have such a great God today!
