I AM PERSUADED THAT HE IS ABLE:

TO MAKE IT UNDERSTANDABLE

MATTHEW 13: 10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? 11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. 13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

Jesus is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He was God in the flesh. That is as high as you get. He is over all, above all, and beyond all. But although Jesus was over all of mankind in His position, Jesus never treated anyone in a condescending way. Jesus never talked down to anyone. Jesus always put others above Himself.

* Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Jesus was wise enough to make the gospel understandable. It would not help anyone if they could not understand it. Jesus did not use fancy words, higher educated phrases, or conceited jargon. Jesus used parables. Jesus talked at people’s level. Jesus was literally “down to earth”. Sometimes we do not share our faith because we think that we will not be smart enough, smooth enough, or educated enough. People do not normally want that anyway. They do not want to feel like they are being manipulated, fast talked, or sold something. They just want it to be understandable. I encourage you today, share what God has done for you with others. You don’t need to have all the answers. You just need to introduce them to the One that has the answers.
