Proverbs 3:6
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Let’s just say that wherever you’re sitting you find out there is a living 20-foot hungry Anaconda in the room with you. Would you ignore it? Would it change what you’re doing right now? I’m sure it would change anyone’s actions. Why is this? Because there is potential harm and danger.
You would like change what you are doing if a person of great significance sat down in the room with you as well. You wouldn’t ignore them.
In the course of a day how many times do we acknowledge God’s presence with us? As believers the Holy Spirit lives in us. He is with us wherever we go. Yet, it’s common that we don’t acknowledge his presence until we need something or eat a meal. God’s desire is to walk with us. To go with us throughout our day. He even gives us a promise. If we acknowledge Him, He will direct our paths.
The word direct means- to be straight, pleasant, prosperous. God can remove obstacles to make our day easier just by us acknowledging He is with us. God gives us this simple promise. Our choice is will we choose to acknowledge Him today or ignore him?
